Junkmail is an independent pseudonymous cypherpunk project. It does not present a natural person or legal entity as the contracting operator, publish a physical address or registration number, or voluntarily choose a governing-law forum. Mandatory rights and laws may still apply according to the facts and your location. Use the service only if you accept this disclosed posture.
要点
Junkmail gives you private aliases that only receive mail: they cannot send, reply, or forward. Free stays usable with the limits shown in the product. Premium and Pro are optional 365-day terms paid once in Bitcoin with no automatic renewal—when a term ends the account returns to Free, with aliases and paid-feature settings paused rather than deleted and retained mail subject to the Free plan’s storage and retention limits. Burning an alias is permanent. Do not rely on a disposable mailbox as your only copy of anything. This summary is for orientation; the sections below are the terms that actually apply.
サービスについて
Junkmail provides private disposable aliases that receive email into your account. Receiving aliases cannot send, reply, or forward mail. Free remains fully usable with the alias, storage, retention, search, and notification limits shown in the product.
任意の年額 Premium・Pro プラン
Premium costs $20 USD and Pro costs $100 USD, each for a 365-day term. Premium includes the higher limits, early-access domains, mail rules, alias timers, mailbox export, and mailbox sharing shown in the product. Pro also includes scoped API tokens, signed webhooks, deterministic test-mail injection, and developer documentation. Payment is a user-initiated Bitcoin on-chain checkout through Junkmail’s self-hosted BTCPay Server. Junkmail does not store a card, wallet private key, or payment credential and does not renew automatically. Network fees charged by a wallet or the Bitcoin network are outside the quoted service price. The project does not issue a VAT or tax invoice naming a person or legal entity.
Only a valid, finally settled payment activates or extends a paid tier. A browser return, pending, expired, invalid, manually marked, partial, or duplicate event does not grant access. Renewing the same tier early adds 365 days after the later of settlement or the existing paid-through date. A Premium-to-Pro invoice created with at least 30 days remaining charges the $80 annual plan difference pro rata for remaining begun UTC days, rounded up to the next cent, and keeps the existing paid-through date. With under 30 days remaining, it charges the normal $100 Pro annual price, upgrades the remainder free, and adds 365 days after the old expiry. The invoice snapshots the exact charge and resulting expiry. Premium cannot be purchased while Pro is active.
When a paid term expires, the account returns to Free without deleting owned aliases or paid-feature configuration. Aliases above the Free cap and paid integrations, rules, and timers are paused rather than erased and resume when the account becomes eligible again. Retained mail remains subject to the active plan’s ordinary storage and retention limits. Bitcoin network transfers cannot be reversed by Junkmail; any refund handling remains subject to applicable law and the terms presented for the transaction.
アカウント
Provide an email address you control, complete verification, keep your password and recovery material secure, and promptly revoke any session, API token, webhook, or push subscription you no longer recognize. You are responsible for activity performed through access credentials you create.
エイリアスとメッセージ
A claimed alias is assigned only to your account while active or paused. Burning an alias is permanent: the address becomes an anonymized tombstone and will never be assigned again. Email delivery is not guaranteed; internet senders, DNS, filtering, maintenance, storage limits, and retention can affect whether a message remains available. Do not use Junkmail as the sole copy of information you must preserve.
メールボックスの共有
A Premium or Pro account may give another Junkmail account access to one of its aliases under a role it chooses: read only, or read and delete. An invitation can only be created against an invite-me token the receiving account generated and provided out of band, so no share can be aimed at an account that has not asked for one; invitations appear in the app and are never emailed. Neither account learns the other's email address. The alias, the mail in it, its storage, and its retention window remain those of the owner, who stays responsible for that mailbox and for who is invited into it; a shared mailbox does not count against a guest's own alias limits. Either side may end a share at any time and access then stops immediately, with the guest's own message marks and tags on that mailbox deleted. Burning the alias, an expired paid term, or a suspension likewise ends or suspends access without deleting the owner's mail. Junkmail may end a share, or withdraw an account's access to sharing, in response to abuse under the Acceptable Use Policy.
適正な利用
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Junkmail may pause or burn aliases, revoke integration credentials, suspend an account, or permanently ban and purge an account when needed to protect the service or respond to abuse. A ban burns claimed aliases permanently.
変更と提供状況
The service may change limits, features, receiving domains, or availability as it is operated and hardened. A domain being retired follows a staged receive-only lifecycle. Material policy changes will be published on these pages with a new effective date.
利用の終了
You may stop using the service at any time. An authenticated non-administrator can export or delete the account from Your data. Administrator-account deletion requires another administrator through the audited operator console. Account deletion is irreversible and retains only anonymized alias tombstones and the minimum detached invoice/accounting records—including stable operational identifiers and timestamps—the service must preserve for legal, security, and exact-once integrity.
サービスの責任
Junkmail is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service does not promise uninterrupted delivery or permanent storage and is not responsible for loss caused by relying on a disposable mailbox as an archive. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be limited.
